The team starts to explore a large rift that looks to be inhabited by worshipers of a fire giant deity.
They do not make it to far in when they are assaulted by 4 trolls.
As the team battles the trolls, 2 fire giants join the fray.
The party dispatches the trolls and fire giants, taking some serious but not overly serious injuries in the process and begins to contemplate if pulling back to rethink might be an option rather than pressing forward.
